Dr. Abed Ayoub

Dr. Ayoub is lecturer for Cambridge International College, U.K. Dr. Ayoub is currently president and CEO of UMR. He holds a PhD in International Development. He is also a Certified International Professional Trainer for German Jordanian University (GJU). He is an adjunct faculty member of The Fund-Raising School at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. In addition, he serves on the Advisory Board of the Center on Muslim Philanthropy, as well as a member of the Board of Trustees, and faculty member, of the Nonprofit Management Department at The Islamic Seminary of America in Dallas, TX. Dr. Ayoub was appointed to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Dr. Ayoub provided advice, analysis, and recommendations to USAID on the most pressing developmental issues in the world today. He is certified as an Executive Director, Master Business Coach, and Professional Coach.

Dr. Ahmed Sheikh Bangura

Dr. Bangura was born in Sierra Leone. He earned a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Alberta in 1994. He went on to teach courses at the University of San Francisco in Arabic, French, Literature, and Islamic studies as a professor for 23 years. He sought Islamic Knowledge and studied Arabic in Middle Eastern countries including Morocco, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. In 1996, he founded and is still the chair of Ihsan Foundation for West Africa, a non-profit dedicated to humanitarian work and community empowerment in West Africa, as well as the preservation of the region’s rich Islamic heritage.
 His first book, Islam and West African Fiction: The Politics of Representation (Lynne Reiner 2000), was a work in literary criticism. He also contributed an article in The Dictionary of the History of Ideas (Wiener, 2004). More recently, he co-authored Ayyam al-Habib (The Days and Times of the Beloved).
Ahmed Bangura dedicates his time in retirement to uplifting communities in West Africa, writing and the exploration of using Arabic not just as a tool to understand the Quran and the prophetic traditions, but also using the Quran and the prophetic traditions to learn and understand Arabic. His forthcoming title, “Learning Quranic Arabic Made Easy: The “Salati” Approach, is a fruit of that effort. 
He won the Global Impact award for 2020 in the humanitarian category for his work with the Ihsan Foundation. He lives with his family in Elk Grove, California.

Dr. Arshad Ershad

Dr. Ershad was born in the city of Herat in 1960. He graduated in Herat Jami High School and afterwards he continued his study in Shareea Faculty Of Kabul University. Dr.Arshad Ershad got 1st position of the Master Degree from Punjab University of Lahor, Pakistan and his P.H.D. degree from Cairo University in Egypt. He wrote and translated more than 35 books in Farsi and Arabic published World-Wide. His famous books are: The Miracles Of Quran, Muslameen Return to Quran; Prayer in Haneefee Fegh. You may see him in the Afghan International TV Stations such as Ariana Afghanistan, Noor, Ariana TV, and mostly in the Sadaye Haq program. Dr. Arshad Ershad had also sold his popular CD & DVD named Understanding Islam; Islamic Studies. He became the president of Islamic Guidance and Promulgation; President of the Ibrahim Khalillulah Islamic Center in Fremont (IKIC) and Iman International TV in the USA.
